OldKid Mag is looking for stories and poems about aging and the elderly. Our magazine highlights the importance of elderly voices in our world, but we would love to hear from all ages on these topics. Stories and poems can be about an important figure in your life, a story about your experience with old age, or how aging has affected you.

While aging and death are difficult topics, we encourage you to delve into these challenges in your work, but please include content warnings if there are graphic descriptions. OldKid Mag wants to show the gritiness but also the beauty in aging.
 
OldKid Mag understands writing about difficult subjects, but we will not post racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory works.  If these topics come up in your work but are not something you are promoting, please include content warnings.

Write about a time you felt positive about being elderly
Write about an experience you had that made you grateful to be old
Write about your experience with aging 
Write about a prominent elderly person in your life and how they affected you 
Write about what it means to grow old
